If it makes you feel any better about learning a new language, I just bought Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish. After I did, started wondering if I was too old to be learning new tricks. Knowing someone else is learning a similar new trick provides encouragement for me ;)

I feel your pain. But immersion is helping. I find I just don't retain knowledge as well as I used to.
